There is a formal group in San Diego who have a membership deal in which you pay $X to join, committ $X per month for a group investment by majority vote. Each member is required to present DD on a stock they have researched every Fri afternoon, providing a copy for each member of PR's, financials, PPS history, you name it.

A week later at the next meeting after they have studied the material, they vote ya or na to buy the stock.

From time to time this formal group invites a guest to present an opportunity for consideration.
