It depends on how they dismiss 774 in settlements as of the CE ruling and the time frames considered...as some settled prior to the CE ruling.
If you read the SNDK 774 dismissal....not going after past, or present time frames of infringement for the specified devices is considered.
Future devices are still in play for SNDK...but what devices do they have considered for the future? SNDK figures to fight when they cross that bridge ?
For some defendants it might be a plus to settle ...for others it might not be.
Until I read of licensing PRs, I'm sticking with this consideration.
