BLR...I don't say it anymore, but I do support your notion.

CE has hindered them and for some reason many do not consider it.

The other patents CAN STAND ON THEIR OWN through normal claims construction proceedings, along with settling under those particular circumstances.

However, IMVHO, if 774 can get a good bill of health, the other patents get way stronger when it comes to settlements and the claims construction proceedings.

For instance, 737 is weak going into claims construction... as hinged to settlement negotiations with the CE hanging on 774. 737 will be way stronger if the 774/108 appeal is positive. There is a historic RAM connection going back to Colorado and 737(not ruled), in light of the 774 Markman ruling. The defendants have rallied around that history with the current claims construction of 737... based on the CE of 774.

With that, I have always considered that e.Digital would rattle a few cages through these law suits with regard to other IP issues.

When the defendants discuss 737 in negotiations....they can't help but trip on Microsignet...it's a self selling issue...because, 737 and Microsignet are tied through the same principles of defective semiconductor issues.

Many of these defendants know exactly what e.Digital is about and what they are capable of with their base of IP.
