Senior Electronic Design Engineer

This position requires a highly motivated, self-organized individual with a great attitude, able to work with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Specifically, this person will be responsible for research, development, design and testing of video products. This is a full time, salaried position reporting to the Director of Engineering.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Design schematics, monitor the PCB layout, Prepare BOM, monitor the prototype build and troubleshoot the prototypes of advanced multi media / video products.

· Employ electronic design tools to perform schematic design and analysis.

Requirements:

· BS degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or a related field.

· Minimum three years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

· Experience designing mixed signal circuitry for video / audio products

· Experience with digital circuitry and DSP and/or ARM based system design

· USB, IEEE-1284, Firewire, IrDA, and network design experience a plus

· Discipline in circuit design with analysis and implementation skills in Digital, Microprocessor, Analog circuit design, A/D – D/A conversion, and interfacing to CPUs.

· Experience in environmental compliance testing –FCC, UL, CE.
