Disch....it notes RAS not RAM.....that is not to say that RAM is not utilized in driving the RAS.

e.Digitals methods are a patented system that utilize a very specific sized and specialized RAM....and it's not used in the typical fashion of data handling, or file creation.

As system it emulates a RAM process of data handling file creation...however, it still requires a specialized and sized RAM to make it happen.

The flash can not do what the RAM can...mainly the operation of over-writing data in a continuous fashion, pushing the data onto and off the flash.....

Like a machine gun, the SRAM shoots the data onto and off of the flash in individual segments, where typically, files are fully orchestrated in RAM and then save to the flash.
