Flashback uses Intel 'Flash' memory chips to record memos, notes or even music. It can store an hour of recording on a 4 megabyte chip about the size of a 50 cent piece. Sound is compressed onto the chip using proprietary algorithms in the microprocessor. The recorder even has a random access system to instantly replay recordings and export them to other media.
