There's got to be a handshake of identifying features.
Not necessarily carried, but identified between devices. IMO, the same way 737 identifies bad cells within memory. Bad memory issues are specific to memory IC's ...no two have the same manufacturing (or the odds are very high that no two are alike) defects.
Nothing is carried as defects are physical. e.Digital manages these physical defects with its OS principles...physically....for removable and static issues.
