Okay, APS had a ``wish list`` for some sort of security. How novel is that? How defendable is that? Almost every MP3 player has content security, as do most hand held video players. All per somebody`s ``wish list``. Layers of security... same-same. CODEC, DRM, Watermarks - all layers of security. I`m now interpreting that these things aren`t something unique to APS/Wencor/digEcor. No IP. A Name and basic appearance - that`s it (as many have been saying).
``Published Application``....does that hold any water? The O-1000 was a ``published application`` with layers of security. Same for IPod.
I`m afraid you`ve lost me (again! LOL). Is there a real issue here or not?
More importantly (to me at the moment), does this mean EDIG has a digE-comparable Mede available NOW? New name, new box, a digE in drag.
