But, per my understanding, BOW (Brent Wood) IS the boss, accountable to no one. Control freaks rarely say ``oops``; they will expend a great deal of effort assigning blame to others.

One thought (though I have no idea who started the angst) is that while we were worrying over whether we were bound by an exclusivity clause with Wencor for IFE, the issue on the table at EDIG was (probably) securing exclusivity as sole source to Wencor. The issues, as pointed out in the recent PR, included ``...the size of guaranteed orders...`` as a major issue that could not be resolved. Thinking about it, EDIG was asking a lot here. Sounds like not only supplier exclusivity, but also something Wencor may not have been able to guarantee - large customers in the bag. This MAY have been, when the concern arose, a pressure move to prompt Wencor to get the show on the road and quit dinking around.

Just think where we could have been right now if Wencor had taken the hint. IF they had committed the millions to marketing digE-things and development (NRE) of the digEsystem (by EDIG) THEN (as they propose now).... However, we`d still be stuck with Brent....though maybe a more reasonable Brent.
