FWIW--- Yahoo Finance under the "major holders heading" 5 separate Vanguard Funds are listed as having a total between them of 9.23% of Apple stock. Being that the information on Yahoo Finance is likely close but not exactly accurate, Vanguard may be the publicly held company that owns 10% or more Apple stock.
