I`d think Triad is definitely a subcontractor. Think about it, as Wood`s sub, he weilds near absolute control. If a mere partner, his control would be somewhat to very limited. Then think from the other side. If you were Triad, unless you were panic`d and in dire need of any business, would you partner up with this guy? Track record: buy out suppliers [Control], buy in to a business [IFE] with the ``Best of the Year`` product, then dilly-dally around for some nine months [as I believe goofiness started about then; when job openings were posted, and never filled after 9 months], jack around your only/sole source loyal supplier, court IMS and drop it [appearing to be another control issue], then come to you [Triad] to cement the screwing of your loyal supplier. DD works both ways. DD by Triad would indicate that you don`t really want to ``partner`` with this guy. Accept an arms length contract and take his money, yes. Partner, no.
