using standard issue...WENCOR gets a limited amount of new IP to place next to their current.
Another thought to consider....if they feel it can be done with premium content in mind...
Could be...WENCOR hired Triad to specifically devise on standards to lock in a standard arrangement....irregardless of a higher cost.....just as an added preclusion of other back door vendors capable of the same...
They do not necessarily have to utilize it....just publish it...it covers a large hole....at the technical level.
