One thing that irks me...

Is that it is almost certain that EDIG did not intend to issue the biz update yesterday, on a Friday. No way. And I`d almost bet that Brent held his Triad announcement till Thursday in a further attempt to ``push EDIG`s buttons``, practically forcing a response from EDIG on the worst day of the week for issuing info, or that Brent didn`t expect EDIG to get its PR out before the open, and probably hoped EDIG wouldn`t get anything out till Monday morn (second worst news day) so that his (I`m sure he thought) bad news could fester over the weekend.

To me, assuming there`s anything to this suspicion (I`m REALLY suspicious of this guy, cuz I understand the control freak man in chargs thing - saw it too often in my career), the explanation for his ire with EDIG is pretty simple. First, he bought APS; a name, a look, a piece security protocol, and access to content (along with a few existing customers, and prior FAA approval of the device). Of course, he thought he bought the whole ball of wax (and, coincidently, IMO because he took Boyer at face value, and Boyer`s ego had grown to gigantic proportions causing him to say he invented everything digE). Then reality set in. He thought he had total control and didn`t - and so on....

So now we get the wrath of Brent. Why? After all, EDIG would be pretty innocent in this whole scenario. Because a bruised ego (due to a bad decision, or one that didn`t take fairly obvious things into consideration) is a difficult thing to heal. Gotta find an ``outside`` force that caused the problem, and then punish that outside force relentlessly. Nothing else matters. Act to your own detriment, but feel better for having punished the perceived antagonist.

[As an aside, I believe the above holds true for both bashers, and longs. Bashers rebelling against EDIG for there own bad decisions; longs holding, looking for redemption to heel our bruises - selling would make the bruise rather perminent.]

So how soon will Digecor have a working, approved, content laden digEsystem? Someone said they state before year end. Which year?

Some (EL) suggest that I way overestimate EDIG`s (proprietary) contribution to the digE, and way underestimate Triad`s capabilities. That may be true. But (my) reality says that IF Brent had cooled his control jets and been cooperative in the interest of success, we`d/he`d have a fully functional digEsystem ready to roll by now - ahead of Panasonic. What are his chances of beating Panasonic now?

I applaud EDIG for sticking to their guns, and for pursuing the Mede after seeing the writing on the Wencor wall.

And I hope that my prior speculation about Brent sand-bagging orders is correct. If he misses his delivery date to, say, RWM, he defaults on the contract and RWM is free of the commitment.

RWM has its Website poised, and our auto train traveler friend reported that they plan to be in operation in December.

EDIG states that they`re getting a $750K order (which could be for RWM). However, RP`s email reply to someone had that last sentence saying that they expect revenues from RWM orders. Again probably reading too much into a casual email reply, it suggests to me that no orders (including the one pending) have been for RWM.

If RWM expects to do business in December, the order from them must come PDQ, or it ain`t gonna happen on RWM schedule. Did I say default? Did I say that would free RWM to do business elsewhere? Zing back to conjecture of possibilities there.

At minimum, there may be a significant RWM order coming very soon (via Wencor, or Mede`s via EDIG - because if RWM even just had a strong feeling that Wencor didn`t expect to meet delivery schedule, they could bail based on ``contemplated default``). How many? Moxa suggested no more than 1,500 units for auto train only, and I tend to agree after playing with the numbers. But we know RWM plans to expand, presumably pretty fast, to ``select routes`` nation wide (this based on early iterations of the Web site/flier). Bigger order? Maybe.

Well, there`s my spew for today... (but hey, it`s early!)

And I KNOW nuttin`!
