have been analyzed adequately by those who object to them as well as by those who see them as a part of the strategy of plaintiffs and defendants. They both have points but it is always useful to also recognize the context. At any rate, we do not promote our case by complaining if we do not agree with the actions of the management. One can make his/her points here a few times but the forum for further discussing these issues is the management itself.
The recent settlements by, let's say, the weaker parties may reflect just that. What may be very important, however, is that these settlements may be an indication of the present strength of our IP due to the recent changes accepted by the patent office. If so, this is the best news we can possibly have. Although I recognize that our good news might be also the result of a combination of the above and the strategy adopted by our law firm, I sure hope and wish that a great deal of it is due to the strengthening of our patents. That clearly bodes well for all our future endeavors.
