Seems we investigated and addressed this months ago. Yes, Thales/Sextant bought B/E`s old IFE business, they`ve paid for it in full, the ``obvious`` ties (i.e., money) are severed. B/E selecting digEsystem as THEIR option in their Spectrum (SPecial RECTUM? LOL) seats is a pretty big clue that there are no longer any ties to Thales.

Sure, an airline could opt for installation of Thales IFE in ordered Spectrum seats. But B/E publically stating that they are somehow teamed with Wencor/digEcor regarding the apparently preferred IFE should speak loud to B/E`s seat customers, influencing them toward digEsystem.

I assume your basing your possible ongoing relationship with Thales on the Air Canada deal. Remember, that was months before B/E announced its ``preference`` for digEsystem. And that follow-on/recent B/E seat deal (``During the quarter B/E was selected by a major airline to retrofit its Airbus A320s. This and the Air Canada award that B/E landed earlier this year – together valued at an initial $80 million - are the only major economy-class retrofit programmes in recent years.``) may not have even included any IFE, just Spectrum seats (no mention of Thales or which airline).

I think Wencor/digEcor is in pretty good shape for the future with B/E. Just hope we`re along for the ride (if we are, even just for royalties on EDIG IP, we`ll be doing pretty good too - with no effort required beyond signing the licensing agreement and counting the money).

JMHO and I KNOW nuttin`!
