In past history EDIG was not in a position to take any one to court. They were broke and were just managing to get by. What the USPO did with their decisions is strengthen the position of EDIG with their claims of infringment on the part of Sandisk and all these others. Flash Memory belongs to EDIG period. It was knowingly used by these companies believing that EDIG was in an a dying state and not able to challange them in court. Along comes DM and a few bucks that changed all that. We now are represented by a bit bull Handal. He is armed with what it is that has been proven by USPO that Flash memory belongs to EDIG.
Sandisk 's reply is not just weak but none existent. A jury trial would serve them right with triple damages awarded if and when they lose. It certainly is of great interest as to how things work out as far as all the others that are also being sued. Right makes Might. With that decision in hand EDIG is in great position to fnally nail the thieves. The waves can be a Tsunami.
