For wireless updating some form of wake up application is necessary to turn the devices on automatically in the process...utilizing a form of RFID( http://www.rfidjournal.com/glossary/Radio%20Frequency%20Identification )...IMO it would be a must for wireless broadcast content up dating of multiple devices.
