Only limited by the ability of the memory ....how fast the memory can write, or program 0's and 1's....the more advanced the memory is @ write the better it gets. e.Digital does not have to deal with consolidating space, or deal with bad cells when creating files....the OS knows the state of the memory.

All they worry about is how fast memory cells can trap electrons.
