Data Portability allowing for interoperability and compatibility issues and streaming of content. I know what the data portability issues are of e.Digital ...and I know how e.Digital streams that data.
This really is amazing that the industry make claims of what e.Digital has had all along and can't seem to get a fire under it.
Don't know what to say any more, other than, this group needs to understand that e.Digital resolves issues of data compatability and the streaming of that data. They have the ability to build(write) a file under their application utilizing any CODEC of choice that can then be identified by any OS file attributes and play that file back exactly in the same quality it was built. ...be it .mp3, .wmv.....etc...ANY. They will all be treated in the same fashion through the same streaming device issues.
In other words, they can create a video, audio,...etc ...file on any file extension that can be identified and managed by an OS computer environment. Where that OS sees the file as a .wmv file, however, it's played back through the open format application it was created on....and not the application its normally associated with.
All fimilar file types from .mp3 to anything, can be created to play back through the same application utilizing a choice video or audio CODEC to build the files on.
Portability and compatibility of all CODEC file types....streamed under the exact same methods.
