Yes, Giants... I had the same thought.
We have several times before been "right in the thick of things" but it has never quite panned out for us yet. Obviously we all hope that this time is different but there are many ways to miss the mark and really only one way to hit it. The odds will continue to be against us.
The Nunchi concept needs to become the Nunchi product very soon or I suspect that other more powerful players (maybe even the same players) will simply "eat our lunch" once again. IF in fact Fred is able to sell the Nunchi concept to a partner resulting in a product (with royalties to e.Digital), then I doubt we will know the details (who/what) until that product hits the market.
Since they've supposedly been developing/testing Nunchi and communicating with potential partners/licensees for at least the past year or so, it seems to me that the successful granting of the patents should have removed whatever hesitation there might have been before taking Nunchi to market. Any technical issues should have been dealt with by now. What remains should only be a matter of committing to an agreement and then ramping up for production/introduction.
How much longer do we wait for real news on this front - 3 months maybe? In my opinion if something doesn't develop within 6 months at the outside, then nothing is ever going to happen with this. It should come as no surprise to anyone that any window of opportunity the company may have will not last very long. Indeed I had thought before that it would have closed by now; but I'll give it a little longer.
When I get the chance (hopefully next week), I plan to carefully read through the Nunchi patents. Depending on what I learn, I may post my thoughts if I think any are noteworthy.
