• Global Eagle signs deal to buy Row 44, stake in Advanced Inflight Alliance
  Global Eagle Acquisition has reached a deal to purchase in-flight Internet provider Row 44 and a majority stake in German content provider Advanced Inflight Alliance, Global Eagle has announced. Led by former Hollywood executives Harry Sloan and Jeff Sagansky, Global Eagle is hoping that tying the two companies together will position Global Eagle to benefit from growing demand for streaming content delivered wirelessly to airline passengers' digital devices.
