``TrustedFlash technology empowers the card itself to be the manager of digital rights, thus giving consumers the freedom to transfer the card - and its content - to other supported devices without compromising its content protection system. TrustedFlash cards also function as regular cards in non-secure host devices.``

You can push that trusted SDcard into all kinds of devices...but unless that particular device is compliant to the specific metadata of the content supplier(or allowed cross platform of the metadata)...it will not play.

The trusted card is a securing agent much like the DigEplayer ability...it is not tied to the underlaying elements of a content supplier.

The DigEplayer will only play content of DivX and related metadata....the DigEplayer is of specific processor design.

It can however be specifically designed for any codec...

Or as I mentioned previous....multi codec...like MICORCAM for AUDIO.....It`s a matter of having an ability to re configure the processor to match what ever codec to be used....ACTEL....with an ability to store the different designs and throw the switch for a particular design....e.Digital.
