It's an interrelate/overlapping handshake... the media format/codec is defaulted as distinct digitized data scheme, to be put on memory, it's correct and set as a standard prior to e.digital grabbing it; its ability to work correctly is determined by an accurate memory data structure. ergo our emphisis on the initial/prior memory integrity.
