Not that it look different but internally function different.....from the HDD to the I/O.
There are published facts of IP...the facts do not relate to e.Digital and their manners of implementation.
All we can hope for as far as the implementation goes....e.Digital has strategies others will not be able to duplicate.....the bios and format of the drive should be our niche....it will be proprietary if the device is MOS managed.
For that layer of the recipe...it`s up to WENCOR to keep or seek a different implementation of HDD format and related I/O to it.
