The smart dishonest can retrieve your numbers from your wallet, doesn't have to be an actual transaction. They have metal type wallets that will protect from this process.

I haven't used a credit card in 10-20 years, either a debit or all of my income and bills are done using electronic transaction. My debit card is protected thru my homeowners policy. I hate carrying dirty money, the less the better. When I go to the back for money, I ask for brand new bills, lol.
