Now put 800 to a 1000 buses in the middle of that....with no real place to go.....and you have a mess. You have to be a minimum of 150 miles out of the path.....you only get the use of one bus for a one way trip.....moving people less than that distance would be a waste.

If the storm does not track off you may be ok.

1000 buses will only handle 60,000 evacuees.....someone gets left behind.
