I got to the bottom of this by a call this afternoon.

1st, my trade was a simple limit order, today only, at .029. There were no other conditions.

What they said was, the ask went up after my order partially filled, there was a tight supply (not many people willing to sell) so those wanting to buy at .0295 got filled vs the balance of my order, and the trades below .029 were sells.

They also said the MM could not find a "match" from a seller to me as a buyer for the balance.

So, the balance of my unfilled buy was canceled at 4:00PM EDT.

Bottom line, I'll get more another day if it fits my goals.
