Based on SHM comments, the "secret" time period is typically 18 months, but also dependent on the PTO workload.

Per the 6/21 year end report:

"The Company responded to USPTO office actions related to the applications and is hopeful that some patents will be granted this year."

1st filing was 9-28-10.

We are at month 22.

I recall Spec saying it takes 18 - 24 months and since he hold 6 patents.....
