The latest estimates are a minimum of a cat 3 and probably a 4 with winds up to 130 mph. That`s as it hits the shore, inland between 20 and 40 miles it will still be around 70-90 mph.
We are inland by 30-40 miles, but sti8ll gets nasty as I remember from Alicia in 1983. We can expect lots of rain, inturn causes a lot of flooding around Houston as the water will have no whewre to go.
Its already difficult to find any water at the stores, it is all sold out, likewise ice, and batteries. Things ARE SELLING FAST.
We will stay but can expect thousands of trees down in our area, hope they don`t fall on any houses or cars like last time.
