It was premature alright, and FF has admitted it to be a mistake to anyone who has asked, to include a statement at the SHM.

On the 3/14 webcast it was presented, the focus of forming this new venture was to concentrate on IP developement. Some possible timing (with any luck), next few months or by the SHM..etc, for some successes. The timing guess...too optimistic...we know that.

To me, it was to divert attention so to speak of the RP issue...JMO.

As we know regarding the 7 or so patents pending, it's still the focus, not coming out with new widgets.

They also explained edigital.com was eVU & IP litigation, separating the focus between the two, with edig.com IP developement.
