Apparently, the only fault with the patent they could come up with was for an interpretation of this phrase...

"power source coupled to control circuity for supplying electrical power to the device"

Well, e.digital put up a fight defending its interpretation....all on the record now and very understandable, to me anyway. The examiner, I have no doubt understood it, yet wanted other considerations entered. The additions, may, or may not add depth to understanding the patent issues by one of ordinary skill in the art....

Anyway, the arguing over an interpretation is over, and the phrase stands.

Now what do the attorneys that challenged do?
