The I/O and stroage elements are obvious.....allowing for a controlled environment of encrypted content and generated keys...through out the delivery chain.
No one has access to either within the process.
Upon final destination...the encrypted files and related keys are then managed by the DigE for file decrypting and decoding.
IMO....we are also involved at the metadata element at encoding of content....where after file decryption(who ever supplies it)....we are involved at decoding. The processor will not move the bit stream unless the unique metadata matches.
If the encoding/decoding has an MOS involvement...
not only would the unique bit stream not play unless matched to specific processor...there is an added security issue at different levels of the MOS structure that can be locked at the different levels.
