Fred is dealing with ambiguity in that phrase....focused mainly on the word supplying by the examiner, adopting the defendants consideration because of that word.

Fred is also trying to make the point, that the control circuitry as sited in the phrase, is control circuitry 21 identified in the body of the patent.

While also trying to make the point, that control circuitry 21, is Micro-controller 21 depicted in figs 1 and 2 of the patent.

The word "coupling" has yet an importance of its own...

There's a lot riding on that one phrase....

You all here had better understand it, as complicated as it all seems... it's not complicated at all.
