Regarding the security patent.....man that is taking a long time to be finalized, one way or the other. When e.Digital responded to the examiner, regarding prior art considerations proposing not to be permissible and explained as such by the DM team....everything looked like a go..... 16/17 months later ..????
What happened in that patent app process that just seems to have vanished ????

IMO.....they abandoned it with a positive prosecution established....and started a new patent app process being part of the new apps in play.

It's way past due to be following any procedural consideration.
