So you are saying they had no plans? That the emergency plans for the city in the hole did not include evacuating the people who could not escape on their own? The same folks, we as a people are being blamed for ignoring because of their color? If that is the case, then why is the mayor going on every conceivable TV show blaming others? You can`t have it both ways. On one hand they say little was done or it was done late, then when pressed why more was not done at the local level, we now get it was to big of a problem? LOL Talk about excuses and trying to have it both ways.

This is a tragedy far beyond what most thought could/would happen. Also over the years monies were not spent that could have lessened the chances of what did happen. Plenty of blame to go round....except of course if you are the mayor of New Orleans. Everyone is to blame but himself. What a joke he is, but so typical of his kind of politician/leader.
