Ok, back from Vegas with a lighter piggy bank and read the random notes on college football...

You Guys are Nuts! lol

At major universities, like USC and UT (Tennessee or Texas), football pays for every other sport, funds millions of dollars of improvements and academic scholarships for non-athletes. And, most importantly, MAKES men out of some very poor, disadvantaged, and undisciplined kids. Many of these kids would just become part of the under belly of society since all they know is football. I have seen many kids` lives literally saved by playing sports and getting a free education because they are good at it. The vast majority of college athletes never play as professionals. It is their means to an education they either could never have afforded, or even considered possible.

I wish all of you had had the chance to meet Reggie White and hear his story. He died way too soon.

Yes, there are many problems with college sports...not the least of which is steroid use. But why punish all the good guys for the few that abuse the rules? Not every kid is taking steroids. Not every kid gets passing grades to just show up. Some do. The media is America rarely shows you the ``up from the boot straps`` kids, but it focuses on the bad guys. Every team probably has a bad guy or two or ten. However, the other 50 kids play by the rules and get an education.

Ok, rant over. Go Vols -- #3 in preseason polls. They may not be that good this year. Time will time...humm, sounds like something else we KNOW, EDIG.

Time for EDIG to step up and sell something. This is not complicated. Currently, Wencor is EDIG`s one source of news and revenue. Is it enough to propel the anemic pps? No, not by any indication we have for a major airline to buy even 10,000 digEplayers...much less 40K or more. We`ll take all the puddle jumpers we can get, but it is not major dollars. We have no idea if Wencor has any large airlines in the wings. Ditto for our relationship with Wencor next year.

Wencor is still playing in the minor leagues. Probably not by design, but by the forces at work in a financially strapped airline industry (oil over $70 / brl). Maybe that will change, maybe not. Either way, EDIG needs the MED / kino deal(s) to get the pps to move north or we shall certainly see more and more dilution as EDIG continues to lose money and issue shares to keep the lights on and the ball rolling.

For the super negatives out there in cyber land, EDIG is NOT going out of business anytime soon with $1.6M in revs announced. They have a chance at turning the company around if they can make good on their ``MED revenues in this fiscal year`` statement. It also wouldn`t hurt to see a Wencor statement that the digEplayer will remain with EDIG even though some here believe Wencor has no other options. I doubt that. The CE world moves swiftly and some entity other than a penny stock can likely build a secure DVAP the major studios will approve. If not today, then soon.

Let`s hope Atul & Fred get `r done (sorry emit, I had to steal your line, but if the shoe fits...)
