Kyocera, Samson Exit E.Digital Flash Memory Patent Suit

Law360, New York (October 20, 2011, 11:09 PM ET) -- E.Digital Corp. on Thursday settled its infringement claims against tech company Kyocera Communications Inc. and musical equipment maker Samson Technologies Corp. in a dispute over a patent for flash memory technology for handheld recording devices.

In orders filed in the District of Colorado, U.S. District Judge Marcia S. Krieger dismissed the claims against Kyocera and Samson just one day after the parties' joint motions for to end the case.
