There are two separate issues of encryption for the DigE...DivX supplies file encryption of the post production process for content.

That process is then encrypted with associated keys together...within yet a second hardware encryption scheme....utilizing authentication encrypted I/O the files are move along delivery channels.

IMO...e.Digital is also involved at the very first layer of encoding....implementing a unique bit stream additive.

I`m of this opinion because it is a specification of APS.
