Would be interesting to see the reaction, if any, from an airline, like Alaska, to know their next order from APS/Wencor for 1,000 DP`s are not the same unit they are now using and are completely sold on but a different unit with different technology.

Frank, a good purchasing manager would simply ask to see the new digEplayer and a good salesperson would present as ``better than the old one.`` A good purchasing manger will want to pay less money for more features. (Think how much was a plasma TV two years ago?) If the new digEplayer does the same thing with a few more cheap games and cost less, the odds are pretty good that Alaska Air would opt for the new toy over the old toy and hype it as ``new and improved`` to frequent fliers. Wencor and APS own the relationship with Alaska Air.

As for security, we all hope no other company can come up with a secure platform. Unfortunately, that may be short term thinking. Wencor can save money by overseeing manufacturing and not paying EDIG to do it. That may change. EDIG does not control their own future if Wencor is all that is left -- I think there is more to it.

For now, EDIG has revs from Wencor and maybe those are the only revs we will see from EDIG in the next few Q reports. My money is on EDIG actualy selling something direct (kino, MED, other?) Why? Because Atul and RP claimed we would see revs this fiscal year. I trust they did not lie. Silly me?

Wencor may or may not play in EDIG`s sandbox this time next year. Let`s hope so, but `ole Fred needs to earn his daily bread.
