You are 100% correct...EDig owns EVERYTHING inside the Digeplayer and APS everything outside, the shell.....I do believe Wencor HAS TO deal with EDig on the DP and where the conflict arises is with the embedded Digesytem. If Wencor attempts to sell ``A`` Digeplayer, since it owns the name, then EDig is free to market the ``inside`` to anyone, any airline, etc....

Would be interesting to see the reaction, if any, from an airline, like Alaska, to know their next order from APS/Wencor for 1,000 DP`s are not the same unit they are now using and are completely sold on but a different unit with different technology.

Also it might be interesting to place a call to 20th Century Fox, etal...to let them know the unit given their content protection approval is now no longer the one being sold by Wencor. Hopefully Wencor`s unit (if it comes to that) will have some sort of content protection that can gain approval from the providers.....Can it?

Problems, problems.... Why not just keep on using the good ole original DP and save all the hassle??
