As Apple hits $400/share, EDIG's patent claims continue to remain in limbo. Clarity was hardly the ruling handed down even though the claims construction on one patent seems to favor the defendants. Hence the 30 day window for the lawyers to reconvene.
My best guess says Apple is on the list for round three, if there is going to be a round three. To own a piece of that continued growing market remains the goal of this investment and I am hoping that DM also sees it that way, and eventually, the judge. Her ruling was open ended regardless of the slant.
The announcement of the shareholders meeting, as opposed to more delays, sparks a bit of hope that EDIG will remain a viable company and that the outcome will shift back into our favor.
Cocumelli signed today's release and "with any luck" Nunchi might surface at a time when the patent front should finally get some finality, one way or the other.
Uncertainty is not our friend and the weeks ahead might help to give this investment the clarity is needs.
While this has taken time, look at this story of a La Jolla investor having fits with the legal system.
