genrb1....I would not bet on that, there will always be a need for local storage, but, IMO...not for those large files. They are better off streamed from personal cloud accounts, or time sensitive secure, non secure pay sites....to CE devices.
It makes no difference if files are cached form Internet accounts or a NAND flash..... there can now be a practicality to it all.
I guess it comes down to where an individual feels their personal info is safe, or worth lugging around.
