Re: LICENSING REVENUES HORRIBLE ! 26 minutes ago

Licensing revs have made this company solvent for the 1st time in 23 years.

At the 2008 SHM on Sept 17, during the .ppt presentation by Fred, a slide was put up showing 8 companies, which should have been 7, as in the TX 7 filed upon in Mar-08. The 8th one I believe was Nokia who was named in the CO 19 Nov-09.

The slide had all the others blank out, but there were 174 listed at that time. Management stated some may drop off the list and some may be added. It is felt today with all the new smart phones, tablets etc that the list may have grown a little but no way to be certain.

So, combining the 2 IP suits to date, we have 26 outfits of which 13 have settled. At a minimum we have 148 more suits to file, unless some license the tech before hand. A positive Markman Ruling could begin negotiations to license the FLASH-R Portfolio without legal actions taken. A comment to this effect was stated at the 2009 SHM in Nov.

A Markman was scheduled re: TX 7 on Feb 17, 2010 but Samsung, the last hold out, caved before hand. The point is, we are early on in this IP litigation defined as TIER ONE as to the level of infringement. As a result, the settlement values are small and until we get to what the company calls TIER TWO, for us to expect huge numbers is incorrect.

Understanding the FACTS and the legal strategy involved is paramount to understanding what one is invested in and whether to buy more or sell.

If people want to not own the stock and bash it and it's management on Yahoo they are allowed to. If people who own the stock but are unhappy with their investment and want to VENT on Yahoo, ditto. But, to own the stock and not be informed as to what this IP litigation is all about, how the law firm is plotting it's course of actions, and whine daily about it, serves little purpose other than venting.

Does anyone here think I like being below a dime for years? No I do not, but I see the BIG picture, I know it takes time, and I'm here until the reward that I expect happens.

Sentiment : Strong Buy
