Yes, EDIG displayed the current 3.5`` screen Kino version with The Puck, two other DMPs (Gateway branded and ), Mouse Ears, and a host of digEplayers.

The added features for the new larger ``kino type`` MED E7 (7`` screen) can be very slick as the cosmetic designs seem to be much better, subjectivly IMO. The engineer I spoke to was truely excited about the new product.

Let`s hope a customer or two becomes equally excited when they see a finished product / prototype. My guess -- make that a WAG -- is any deal would take time to get this product into the market when sold. Therefore, an announcement could be several months, not weeks, away should EDIG sell the end-to-end program to a hospital, rental car company, cruise line, etc....

Until such a sale takes place, EDIG does have a portion of their overhead covered by Wencor sales efforts, at least for the short term. RP did state that additional airlines would be announced. I trust that means that Wencor has the deals completed, but it unwilling to allow any PR at this time. My guess is the airlines are controlling when they announce any new service to consumers.
