Brings back a lot of memories that I wish had of never happened.

June 11, 2001 was the day I was admitted to the hospital, took them until the 21st to finally operate, took that long to discover the problem.

I was in ICU for 8 days and then remained in the hospital and rehab until August 1, 2001, a total stay of about 50 days.

Then a really sad day, Sept 11, 2001, I was still in a rehab, but at home and was watching the TV when I actually saw the plane fly right into the building, I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

During the hospital stay, I must have received 30-40 cards from my edig internet friends, also flowers and prayers. Telephone calls from many were much appreciated and helped me through the long stay. I still have those cards, will cherish them and the words forever.

I guess we were both hanging on, but here we are a decade later, still holding on to our edig shares.
