Some new treats from the SHM

The Airlines that are using the Digeplayer have already paid off the cost of the players fairly quickly. The funds came from advertisers paying for space on the Players. This has been a money maker for them.

Airlines are not too interested in the embedded system at this time. They preffer to go with the portable system because it is less expensive and most cost effective.

Key here, most airlines lease their aircraft. So why spend money on an embedded IFE when they have to turn the aircraft in after the lease expires. Portable units can be easily transffered to a new leased aircraft.

The concept of the Medeviewer is strictly Edig`s idea. No middle person ( such as Wencor )involved here. Edig will control production and sales for this product, therefore achieve higher profit margins.

Here is the key. Players will be used by the patients during their stay in the hospital and access movies, internet, videos, menus, billing ect.

Hospitals will pay for this because they will gain revenues from companies paying for advertising space on the players.

Now how may industries can we think of that would love to advertise products and services directly to the patient.

How did management come up with this idea? Yes they are learning from product success # 1.

How many other uses can we think of?

My deductive reasoning. Take it for what it`s worth. No warranties implied here.

Good luck
