As for their handling of the digEsystem issue recently AND at the AMS, I`m under the impression that a negotiation is basically ``in process``. They may not be in specific talks at the moment, but I think they`re ``doin` the dance``, posturing. This explains RP`s evassiveness on the subject recently. Currently, it`s just the impression I got from the way RP handled the discussion, and recognizing (what little) I know about the probable need Wencor has for EDIG`s tech and expertise, and the fact that, with EDIG, they have something very close to a working model at this time. I honestly believe that both sides are playing hard ball with no room for a minor compromise. A major compromise by one side or the other may be necessary, and RP made it very clear that EDIG is not going to cave. By speaking in such direct terms at a shareholders meeting, he has set the situation were EDIG must follow through with their stated intent or face litigation from shareholders. Hence, a very clear message was sent to Brent Wood, coupled with sincere thanks and appreciation. Like others here, I think EDIG will ultimately have further involvement with the digEsystem. It just makes good business sense.
I`m still feeling real positive about things. WAEA coming up, AMTRAK can`t be too far off, and one of these ``new things`` could pop up at any time (after all, how long have they been talking about kiosks and other DVAP opportunities?).
