Without EDIG they would have to either do their engineering in house or contract out to a third party.
Considering they have an existing digEplayer relationship with e.Digital and since e.Digital and APS first presented the design, it just doesn`t make much sense.
I would guess that the IMS buyout manuever was to pressure e.Digital to come to the table. Since IMS apparently figured it out or bailed for whatever reasons, it appears Wencor is left with no engineering capabilities...or why would they need IMS???????
This is sure a great chess game. Nice to see EDIG hold its ground and look beyond Wencor for futher business development.
