However, keep in mind that Wencor has an IP ownership in the DigE....and they may feel that e.Digital is infringing on their IP with in house development for a product of similarity.
It`s all hinged on what agreements where made between APS and e.Digital before Wencor entered the picture.
The agreement would have to allow e.Digital the use of the APS IP within other business types with exclusion to airlines....or they would have to come up with a different concept.
This new platform... leads me to believe that they came up with a new concept.
``To exploit the growing market for closed-system secure video products, E.digital is developing a new DVAP based with a powerful new processor to provide ----- more functionality and feature sets than provided by our current DVAP. The new DVAP, based on further augmentation(?) of Micro OS, will come in the form of a fully finished product featuring high resolution digital LCD, embedded magnetic card reader, ------ privileges, 8xxx.11 wireless connectivity, internet access, Voice-over IP (VOIP), full-feature graphical user interface, content security, RFID for tracking and ---- control, access to E.digital supplied desireable content.``
