Stern`s show going to video-on-demand

NEW YORK (AP) -- It`s not just on radio that Howard Stern will be testing out a new technology.

The In Demand Networks, which provides video-on-demand content to cable television companies, said Wednesday it had reached an agreement to carry the televised version of Stern`s show that had been shown for 11 years on the E! Entertainment network.

Stern`s popular radio show is moving to Sirius Satellite Radio from ``free`` radio in January.

The In Demand show will contain edited highlights of his radio program, available in the evening the day after it originally aired. Unlike E!, it will be uncensored, In Demand spokesman Eric Duncan said.

Interested viewers can get the show by subscribing to it. The subscription fee hasn`t been set, Duncan said.

In Demand is currently available in about 15 million of the nation`s 110 million homes with television, and is expected to grow by about five million per year.
